Wish to own a car but high market prices often demotivate you? Explore the market of pre-used cars and find the used car that suits you the best. While purchasing used cars does not get swooned with  tags like “Reduced Price”, instead, pay attention to the commitment of the seller who desires to sell a good product like “Technical Aspects are Thoroughly Verified”, “Inspection completed by Certified Technicians” etc. Although you would think that every car would be tagged with similar statements, it is obvious that certain vehicles are simply being offered at a very low price without tagging them for validation.

The real test of the used car can be taken on a long drive. One trouble that you may encounter while driving a used car could be a knocking engine sound or overheated engine. You cannot deny such situations so to protect your interest, make sure to note down the seller’s number whom you could approach for help. If the seller agrees to help you by paying for the necessary repairs, then you have a chance of closing a good deal on the vehicle.  Otherwise, you will end up wondering how to get your car back on track without burning holes in your pocket.

Always consider the warranty on the product while purchasing the vehicle. Do not get confused with the warranty on a single owner car which has completed its fourth year of warranty and is now running in its fifth year. While this is good, it also implies that this type of warranty will stop covering certain parts in the car once a specified tenure like 2 or 3 years from the date of purchase of the car is completed.

So, when the warranty is noticed on a used car, do not forget to ask if the warranty is applicable to the vehicle you’re interested in which has had multiple owners who previously bought and sold it. Your day may be good and your risk with the used car would be less if you could find such a warranty attached. Also, check if the seller is providing you the warranty from a legal and willing service partner or if he would he be covering the terms of the warranty through his or her own company. In the later case, the seller may not have the complete list of parts which need to be replaced or the needed mechanical assistance to perform the required repairs and this might delay getting the car back in service. Do not lose hope and never give up. Only when continuous follow up is done will you get the advantage of taking a warranty car and getting it repaired if not working properly.

If a seller is not reachable or denies the warranty, then get the help of Lemon Law. This law is designed to protect the buyer’s interest and defends cases of warranties which are not being honored by the sellers.  However, it’s important that you get the complete documentation proofs at the time of buying a used car. The last solution is to approach the seller through law for which the professionals could help you in any way possible.
